University of the Punjab Lahore was established in 1882 at Lahore, the university is the biggest and the oldest institute of higher education in Pakistan. This university was the first university in the Muslim majority area of sub-continent.

The University comprises of 4 Campuses, 13 Faculties, 9 constituent colleges, over 63 Departments, Centers, Institutes, and 500+ affiliated colleges. It has over 620 permanent faculty members involved in teaching/research and over 30,000 on campus students. Annually there are about 350 exams for 450,000 students.

Punjab University Lahore Allama Iqbal (Old) Campus

Allama Iqbal Campus is also known as the old campus which is located in the centre of Lahore. The name of this campus is originated after the great South Asian thinker and spiritual poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

Hailey College of Commerce Lahore

Hailey College of Commerce was established in March 4, 1927. Hailey College is a part of University of the Punjab, offering undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate degree programs.

Punjab University College of Information Technology Lahore

The Punjab University College of Information Technology (PUCIT) established in 1988 as Center for Computer Science.

University Law College Punjab University Lahore

University Law College Punjab University is oldest law college in the city Lahore. The law classes were taken over by the Punjab University Law College in 1870.

Punjab University Library

It was established in 1873 as “Punjab University College Library”. The Punjab University College was raised to the status of a University in 1882 and it became the Punjab University Library from the same date.
